Places where it is harder to shoot ...

Such as a pregnancy support centre. Babies seem to just love tripods like they're the magic key to climbing in to the sky or even just standing up.

Re: Places where it is harder to shoot ...

I have that problem particularly at Italian weddings, Italians bring all their children to a wedding and the dance floor at a wedding becomes a playground, my tripod is like a attention magnet and I can't leave it unattended, same for ceremonies, their children run around as if it's playtime and they are not being corrected for their behavior, very annoying at times. I also had a child standing between the tripod legs of a unmanned camera at a ceremony of a Italian wedding, it was pulling the top spreader. I didn't notice it until I came home and saw that camera wiggle, when I watched from another cameraangle I saw him standing there...

I've already told my girlfriend that young children are banned from our wedding ceremony haha! They are too young to appreciate or understand the importance of the occasion and only cause disruption.

I've only filmed four and I've already seen enough! On Saturday a young girl, during the speeches, was twirling around in circles trying to make herself dizzy. She fell over onto the base of my monopod I was using to film the best man's speech, then looked up at me for a reaction to see whether she was in trouble or not. All I could do was smile and act as if it was OK, but in reality it was very annoying and as usual the parents did nothing about it.

For the speeches/evening do, I would consider hiring a private creche to keep them entertained at my own wedding.

Also to add it's incredibly dangerous for the child if the camera were to fall onto them. I'm glad I have insurance.
