Looking for stock footage advice

Hello guys,

Would you mind sharing some names of your stock footage sources?

I am looking for entire collections (not single files), in the field of nature, lights, particles, smoke, dust, surrealistism, fire; but as elements for compositing, not like an entire scene. I am looking for elements that can be layered.

Here is a good example of what I am looking for:

Thanks for your suggestions, I will check all of them out!

Hey Mark, thanks for your links ;
I am really looking for entire collection packs to buy because I need a lot at once...

Like what are names of well known high quality brands who sell motion elements packs, like nature, lights, particles, smoke, dust, surrealism, fire etc...

Check out Particle Illusion. Their web-site says their program can create content for SD and HD video.
I've only used SD output, so can't comment on how good the HD looks.
I do all my other video work, then once it's ready for DVD, I'll lay on some special effects in standard definition. I wouldn't call it high-end quality, but might be good enough for your needs, or maybe you can get more out of it than me. A bit of a learning curve but not hard to get started creating effects quickly, just the more advanced features take a little more trial and error. I think I paid $300-400 many years ago. They have added lots of emitters to their library over the years, at no extra charge. Plenty of smoke and fire effects.

Pond 5 doesn't take content shot on iPhone. Maybe if it was of a meteorite landing or something...
