Focus FS-100 firmware

Looking for copies of Ver 3 & Ver 4 firmware for a Focus FS-100 DTE.

Picked up a FS-100 hoping it works on a JVC GY-HD100U.

Thanks

Re: Focus FS-100 firmware

I used one on my JVC for a while - worked OK I guess, but somehow I never liked it so I got rid of it and use an Atomos via a couple of BlackMagic mini-adapters (Component -> SDI and SDI -> HDMI).

FS deal fell thru - hope to get a data video unit instead. I think a card has to be better then trusting a IDE style hard disk. Always like DataVideo items.

Re: Focus FS-100 firmware

Cards are a lot less power hungry but have their own sets of problems. 2 1/2" drives are pretty tough and a lot cheaper at larger sizes. But need more power.

Nothing's perfect. Hope you wind up with something that works for you. Don't feel too bad about missing out on the FS.
