I'm not sure if this is the right place for this or not...

I'm wondering if anyone has any contacts with someone who can make great looking monsters suits on a limited budget...

You might want to try to get in touch with the guys who made "Monsturd". They made that whole turd-monster suit for dirt-cheap, and it looked pretty good.
