Multi-cam editing live.Switch between two

Are there any programs that does this other than Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 which costs over $800??

Of course,I don't qualify for an educational discount and neither can I afford the above price.

Thanks for any input or leads.

Bruce

I don't think Premiere Pro 2 can mix cameras live (you need to have them already on the hard drive in order to do that) but someone correct me if I'm wrong about that.

There are basically 2 options:
1. record a tape on each camera then sync and edit them later using an NLE or
2. rent a video mixer for the day (shouldn't be too much for a small one)
