DV footage into Computer

Hey guys whats the best machine to get your mini dv footage into your computer? I was using an old dv camera but it died there the other day so I need a new cost worthy solution! Cheers.

A lot of people are using the camera's they shot the footage with. Others
are using a DV deck or a different camera. Any basic DV capable camera will
usually do (although sometimes it may have trouble reading tapes from different
brands etc.).

If you are shooting in HDV or have one of those 24p capable camera's it may
require a similar camera/DV deck to read those tapes.
