Tough Question

Alright guys and gals, I've got a tough question. I need a motion graphic of Louisiana as it was created by the major river deltas. What I mean is, I need some sort of computer generated movie of Louisiana as it was say, 10,000 years ago, and its fast paced formation to the present day. I've seen it before on TV, but I can't find it anywhere. I have a feeling it's buried somewhere on NASA's website, but I don't know. Any tips?

Any friends of yours do animation? After Effects or something? If you can find pictures you could try to recreate it.

From what you're describing, I'd say you're looking for custom CG work. The stuff you see on Discovery Channel is all done by teams using very sophisticated CG software. Creating 3D graphics is a very time consuming process, and its not something that you can just jump into.
However, if you are just looking for a static aerial shot (like Louisiana as seen from space) that shows the changes over time, then you'd need a series of aerial shots, each showing a different stage of development, and then you could just fade one shot into the next. You're still going to have to generate the images in Photoshop or some other graphics program (After Effects isn't going to readily generate the graphics for you, its really more for manipulating graphics once they've been created), unless you can find someone that's already created the type of images you're after.
