What's a VC on-set?

What's that center of TVs that the director watches after a take to see if he likes it called? I've seen it referred to as a "VC" but what does that stand for?

Ben, it's often referred to as 'video village'. I haven't seen or heard VC but it might refer to Video City which would be similat to the first term.
