Why does my lens cost so much?

Take this virtual tour of the Canon lens factory to find out how lenses are made. The three video segments total to about 15 minutes. Well worth watching IMO and narrated very well.

Enjoy!

Wow, that was pretty amazing to view how one of my lenses are made and assembled.
Very much handcrafted work, wich I think is good for the quality.

Thanks for sharing!

I should add that the videos in the 'Lens Gallery' section are also very informative.
