online video trouble...

Hi Nick,
Microsoft discontinued support for the Mac Version of the Windows Media Player and they now link to a download for the free Flip4Mac Quicktime plug-in that allows you to view Windows Media content through your Quicktime engine. Find the Flip4Mac plug-in here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...omponents.mspx Since Quicktime is basically the engine upon which much of the OS handles much of the multimedia content, once you have the Flip4Mac plug-in correctly installed, your browser should be able to view the bulk of standard online windows media content. -Jon |
okay, my brother turned out to say the same thing, ahahaha.
thanks for helping though, man! oh, but isn't the Flip4Mac that you download like a trial, or like, only play 30 seconds, or something dumb like that? |

You do have to pay a tiered pricing depending upon your intention to author Windows Media content, but just to play windows files through quicktime requires the free non-trial version. -Jon |
I use the free non trial version of Flip4. Works fine.
