SDI and YUV, what is the difference?

What is the difference between SDI inputs and YUV inputs? Do both of these inputs automatically support DVCPRO50 4:2:2? Is one digital, and the other one analog?

YES you are correct ... SDI is digital ... YUV is component analog

depending on the MODEL of the deck it could have both ..
