A quick way to 180° flip a bunch of captured DV files?
 

I'm using a lens adapter which flips the image and I'm capturing with scenalyzer to automatically break up every shot in a different file... Only problem is that this is pretty unhandy to edit with, having to rotate every shot while working with it etc.

Anyone know a good fix for this?

(software I use: Scenalyzer 4.0, Vegas 7.0, Premiere Pro 2.0, After Effects 7.0 Pro)

you can put all of them on timeline and export it again, then import as one clip and rotate, then brake it up again, but its not good solution though...

or copy the rotation effect(or motion presets) and then click really quickly CTRL+V on every clip

In Premiere Pro, you can select one clip, apply the Motion effect's 180 degree rotation, then select all of the other at one time and paste the attributes.

However, If I were you, I would probably export each and every clip individually after rotating them all, just so they will be easier to work with later.

And since you would want to do this in a batch, I would use After Effects.

Once you have them all the way you want them, you will have a lot less hassles with previewing.

I vaguely recall doing this in Edius with real-time preview, but I'd have to double-check to make sure.

Quickest way I've found thus far is indeed with AE as Steven suggested, this allows me to quickly letterbox it with the Magic Bullet Letterboxer as well.

I just drag in all the files, select them all and turn em all into compositions at once. Apply the rotation and letterboxing on one of them, and then quickly open every comp and ctrl+v the settings on each one.

Ah, I was thinking you meant a left-right flip but it sounds like you're talking about a 180 degree rotation. For those trying to do this in Edius, the 3D PIP keyer should work.
