24P on HMC looks more stuttery than DVX?

Perhaps it was my mind playing tricks on me.. but after shooting for a few hours in 30P, I switched over to 24P and immediately felt that at least in the flio-out LCD, the image was MUCH more stuttery than 24P appeared on the LCD of my DVX or HVX.. is there a difference of how the HMC renders 24P (on the LCD) than the DVX or HVX? Granted, I have yet to compare 24P footage from the HMC to the other cameras on a larger screen.....
