Is my HMC150 a bad match with an EX1?

I'll be doing 2 camera shoots that require a good match and I'm concerned these won't play well together. Anyone using both? If so do you have profile settings I could try?

Thanks

I did a quick test when I first got a HMC 150 to take over "wedding duties" from form EX 1.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well they did intergrate, I was able to put some shots from the HMC 150 into the EX footage and was only concerned with lack of light in dark reception rooms. The colour matching under good lighting so pretty quick, so it is 'doable'.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to mess around with profile settings, as it was my first shoots with the Panasonic.

Cheers,

Vaughan

Delivered my HMC150 footage to the director/editor of a piece we both shot. She shot her parts on an EX1 and I think they play pretty nicely with each other. I used CineV profile.

Paul, I match them and have found it is best to move the Sony towards the Panny.

You can get them really close. I setup a scene with some different colored objects, a MacBeth chart and a white card under controlled lighting.

Set the HMC-150 up how you like it then adjust the Sony to match using a custom PP.

A calibrated monitor is a must.

Thanks Tim, I was wondering which should be the parent camera. I assume the EX1 has more adjustment lattitude?

Yes, the EX-1 has a lot more adjustments.
