HDC-TM700: Ghost Town! Jerome Arizona
Jerome Arizona and Gold King Mine. Once known as the wickedest town in the west, Jerome was a copper mining camp, growing from a settlement of tents to a roaring mining community.

Another great travelogue where imagery and musical sound provide the narrative. Thought the Ghost town was nicely captured. I remember seeing other similar pieces you did with the HMC 40 and wonder how you find the 700 camera compares?

Thanks for the kind words Rick. I'm very impressed with the TM700. If you prefer 1080/60p, the TM700 image is equal the HMC40. The TM700 has fewer external controls, but the ones I frequently use are available via menus. The wider, faster lens is also handy, and though I've not done an objective comparison, I believe the TM700 is better in low-light.
Thanks for watching... |
Nice video. Makes me want one of these little cameras even more.
On a completely unrelated note, I have that same thermometer that's hanging up in one of the shops. The one with the patent medicine that's good for mules and jackasses. I've been asked more than once if I find it helpful :) |
