Please help with my tm700 !!

Love the camera..but...Cant't get around the 4gig fat32 file format (clips split, also have about 10frames missing) I thought buying a 64gig SDXC exfat formated card would do the trick, no such luck..anyone with a solution....seems carzy that you can't record over 20 minutes of 60p without a clip split..Thanks for any advice. Gary

You need to find a software solution that reads the meta-data on the card and can join all of the 4 GB files into one large AVCHD.

I edit with Sony Vegas Pro, which has a function called "Device Explorer" which allows you to join all of the 4GB files into one large AVCHD file on your hard-drive with NO FRAMES MISSING.

I think the latest version of the Sony Vegas Movie Studio 10 ( consumer version of Vegas Pro ) can do this too. You can download a fully working demo of both the Pro and Studio versions from the Sony Creative Software website:

THANKS MUCH !!!..thought the card would work..My best friend is a Vegas user, I'll give it a go....I use Edius, will check for this feature...(might as well return the SDXC card...costs twice what a SDHC card does) Thanks again, your the only one that had an answer, I've been googling for the past week and spoke with panasonic reps with nada..Gary
