No audio on HMC 150
 

Has anyone had problems with audio on this camera and what did you do about it? I’ve had the camera for about a year and have not had a problem until today. I had absolutely no audio. I started off with a mic connected with phantom power. Nothing. Then I tried another mic and even the built in mic. Nothing. I checked all the switches, making sure it was on mic level, channel 1 or 2 (I tried both) and checked the phantom power. I ended up having to rent another camera for the shoot. I’ve called Panasonic, but its after hours. I’m guessing it needs to be repaired? Worked perfectly up until today. Since I have more shoots this week, so I thought I would try here.

Definitely sounds like you have a problem.

Alll you can really do is reboot it and re-check all your sound switches.

That's what I suspect. Still waiting for a return call from Panasonic.

Is there a reset button on the camera? if so try it. I had the same problem on a PD150 years ago. It worked for me. Worth a try.
