Remote recording on Samurai

Wondering if anyone has found a solution to remotely control Samurai (record and stop) through any custom workarounds. Lanc control is not yet available for Panasonic cameras on Samurai, but I'd like to be able to fire it on and off without having to reach up to the Samurai monitor and push the screen.

Figured it out. Updating Samurai firmware to 2.8 allows the camera using the HD/SDI signal to fire the Samurai remotely.
