AG-AC 90 focus problem

Good morning
I want to ask a simple question to all of you regarding my Panny AG-AC90 focusing nightmare during live events.
I shot a wedding this weekend and focusing with this cam on the go is very difficult in manual mode.
I've tried auto also but it seemed like hunting a lot and turning back to manual.......the focus readings showed me 55,75,80,99....etc in short intervals so I went back to manual.
Red peaking is a joke in low light and with the DJ lights is useless.
I turned my viewfinder to no colour (black and white) and it didn't help a lot.
Luckily I had two other cams......SONY CX 900 where everything is so easy and it's doing a great job in low light + the focus peaking is very strong .
Is there a focus assist or something to facilitate focusing with this cam or I have to sell it ?
The AG-AC 90 is like new..... Couple of hours of filming.

Thanks
