Telephoto adapter lense for DV852 question...
Hey all. Well I have a big short coming up in a week and a half and we needed some shots with a shallow depth of field. I was curious if I purchase a Telephoto conversion lense (canon brand 1.7x) from say BHphoto, will this really help on shallowing my depth of field or do you literally need an actual seperate telephoto lense (obviously not available on a dv852 for interchangeable lenses) to achieve this effect? We also might need some rack focuses. Will this conversion lense enable us to use the the focus ring to pull off large rack focuses? Finally, the canon brand conversion lenses cost a good deal more than the Raynox brand on BHphoto and the Canon is a 1.7x vs. the larger 2.0x of the cheaper Raynox conversion lense. Which is a smarter buy? FYI: I already have a Canon wide angle lense adapter and I love it, but I am a newb in the world of telephoto... thanks! -Bryan.
