I don't know about some of you people

I don't know about some of you people looking for a a great cam at a bargain price.

This guy here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=20332

is selling a MX3000 with a whole bunch of extras, including the remote MX3000 tripod. Last time I checked, the bid was at only $500 US.

Good deal or what!

Yeah, and the low light's not bad. :)

Frank Granovski October 25th, 2003 07:07 PM

It's gone! Someone snagged it for $900 US! WHAT A STEAL! :)

John Gaspain October 25th, 2003 07:44 PM

With the 1st link I posted, a bidder pulled out, so that's why you found the second link. As of right now it sits at $510 US, with 7 hours and a bit left before the gambling ends. :)

whats the retail on this? I cant find it anywhere on the net

item ended at US $657.79

Clive Muskus October 28th, 2003 01:36 PM

Hi John,
Did you manage to vidio the "glory of the World" passing by. Show it to us. I expect it ended with the sale of this cam at $657.79

Guest October 28th, 2003 04:51 PM

Frank you really like that camera, I am going to have to use it sometime when I get the chance.

Frank Granovski October 28th, 2003 06:52 PM

Well someone got a good deal. Retail cost? I recall Q Tech selling the last few at $3000 US. However, they were going for 1/2 that in Japan. Do I think it's a good cam. Yes. I thought it was on par with the VX2000 but in a smaller footprint.

Frank Granovski October 28th, 2003 06:57 PM

Here's another good deal on the EZ30U:

http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=16357

$900 with some extras

Paul Jason October 28th, 2003 08:38 PM

Do you think a EZ30U or MX3000 would be a good low light cam for doing weddings and still look OK with footage from a GS100?

Frank Granovski October 28th, 2003 08:46 PM

I would say the the EZ30U makes a good wedding cam because with DIS off and with using manual controls, the "low light" is very good. The low light requirements will be better than the MX3000's and GS100's. However, the GS100 footage will not match; the GS100 footage will be a lot sharper. The EZ30U is a solid work-horse.

Thanks for the information Frank.
