Check this out
I used DVFilmMaker to deinterlace the video and then made two frame grabs using Studio 7.

Thanks for the pics! Have you tried comparing frame-mode shot grabs with de-interlaced grabs? I would be curious about which would have better resolution.

thats a good thought frank
always thought of doing that myself just never got around to it though will post on here when i do though got some good photos of a frog the other day though |
Just seen your pics Bablefish-translated as Cool One Day at your .kr site. Nice ones. I presume stills rather than grabs?
The other grabs, processed with S-Spline Pro look quite detailed indeed. Would this improve the picture for viewing on standard TV sets? |
OK, Frank. Next time, I'll post some frame grabs from the video shot in 30P frame mode! Anyways, I do need to experiment w/ my camcorder a bit before making a feature-length movie in two years from now.
"Just seen your pics Bablefish-translated as Cool One Day at your .kr site. Nice ones. I presume stills rather than grabs?" Yes, they are stills; I took them in high shutter speed. http://www.dvuser.co.kr/zboard/view....sc=asc&no=9486 "The other grabs, processed with S-Spline Pro look quite detailed indeed. Would this improve the picture for viewing on standard TV sets?" Of course! I've seen my video on the 57" HDTV and everything looked very sharp. |

Yes that is the one I have seen. Impressive.
I am downloading S-Spline Pro as we speak:-) |
