Problem of 953 video capture useing movie maker

Hi, I am a new comer of this community. I bought panasonic 953 some days ago. When I capture video using microsoft movie maker 2.0, the software says "digital device not response" after camcorder rewind tape, if I select to capture all tape. But if I capture part of the tape, that is fine. There is no such problem in Ulead video studio. Anybody has idea?

If there is no problem with this in Ulead's program then there
most be some bug in Movie Maker or with parts it interacts with.
I don't think there is a solution. Not many people are using
Movie Maker (due to its simplicity). So perhaps you are better
off with another NLE anyway?
