Neither satuation is correct

First one is too yellow.

Second one is too blue.

I didn't mention about color accuracy. :) And besides, the second one was shot in AWB (and has close to accurate color).

Which one of the frame grabs (PC110 & PC330) do you like better? I'd like to hear your response. :)

I prefer the second (680) MX5000 and the PC330 progressive (3rd) pix.

it is hard to say what one to choose. i really think you answered it urself though. what you want is true color and to show something for what it is. that is the idea of 3ccd. anyway just my opinion. it depends on the light conditions of the day but by looking from where i sit they could both be equally as good. i do prefer the first because i come from australia where we have warmer colors. the second looks a touch cold but once again the day might have had cold colors so if you want it for what it is then take the one you said.

I like the first of the two ballfield pics. It reminds me of Super8 Ektachrome which always seems to lean more to yellow than blue.

I prefer the progressive pc330 out of the other 3. It looks less like video than the others. The pc100 certainly has some sharpening working on it compared to the pc330.

I like the 1st one, the yellowish highlights the semi-arid landscape.

depends.. im not one for warm colours as i feel it looks too samey when compared to sony footage.. and canon i might add.. (or maybe its just the settings... alot of tv stuff is too warm for my actual enjoyment and it just looks too much like every other footage...

I prefer natural colours... but if i was wanting to convey a look, i wouldnt hesitate to adjust the settings...

how did u get the colours like this??

Young Lee April 26th, 2004 11:37 AM

I changed the WB settings on my camcorder.
