Panasonic PV-DV953s Selling Out Fast
 

Several dealers I contacted today were sold out of the PV-DV953 and won't be getting more. B&H had just two left at quitting time. What this means in terms of a 3-CCD replacement model soon appearing with OIS, in this size and price range, was unknown to them all.

Perhaps this is the idea: make sure no DV953's are left before Pana officially announces the GS400. Seems like a good reason or delay for the GS400.

This is good and I do not care because I will wait for the new gs400. It is better, or I think it will be better. Maybe it will not better but rather the same as the gs100. I only saw a dv953 not a gs100 because stores do not sell them here. I will also buy a new video camcorder case with the gs400 to protect it from dust and dirt.
