Ode for GS4

Cheeks and shooters, listen up!

Oh praise this new mighty minDV device, a digital film-maker's delight, designed for that realm of imagination and perhaps for even beyond. With it's big lens and full set of manual controls---a marriage between Leica and Pana---this is the tool for you. From brenda filmy to tommy run and gun this is a cam for everyone. Beseech that it will come soon and Pana will make proper, but hark it is for only the pure of heart. Heed my words, the GS4 is everything and plenty more.

George Beck May 12th, 2004 01:50 PM

SOLD!

I want 10 lb. of cam, please :)

Tom E Young May 12th, 2004 05:35 PM

That sounds very nice Frank but I do not know what some of the words mean. I did not phone Panasonic today and I will try not to phone tomorrow as well.

Frank Granovski May 12th, 2004 06:16 PM

Which words?

Bryan Beasleigh May 12th, 2004 07:13 PM

"I want 10 lb. of cam, please :)"
We'll have to start a Marztech thread for this camera. At 10 lbs (4.54Kg for metric Canadians) you would certainly require a robust grip.

These words:

* realm
* brenda filmy
* tommy run and gun (me or the wrangler?)
* beseech
* proper
* hark
* heed

Also panasonical which I read you use.

Bryan what is a marztech? It sounds like a kind of bird.

George Beck May 12th, 2004 07:45 PM

Bryan.. I will require a few extra hands =)
about 8 ;-)

Frank Granovski May 12th, 2004 09:05 PM

Panasonical means Panasonic's way or method/s. I don't know what the other words mean. I'm sure Bryan or George can help. :-))

Bryan Beasleigh May 12th, 2004 09:39 PM

* realm
A kingdom, dominion or domain

* brenda filmy
Must be one of Frank's old girlfriends from Winnipeg

* tommy run and gun (me or the wrangler?)
That would be you Tom. Exercise of any type is against The T Haupmeisters philosphy on life.

* beseech
Means ask, "pretty please", it's almost groveling

* proper
Suitable or appropriate. Can also mean correct or fit as in"Frank is a right, proper sausage"

* hark
Listen up

* heed
Do what i say or I'll thump you

*Also panasonical which I read you use.

It could mean the straight scoop as decreed by Panasonic or some other Matsushita hierarchy

*Bryan what is a marztech? It sounds like a kind of bird

A marzpak is a 13 in a 1 to 10 nerd rating. it's actually more nerdy than a videographers vest or a run and gun by a sleeping dog. I own one and when I suit up my wife laughs herself so hard she has to change her jeans.

Its actually great for a heavy camera. I use it for the VX2alone or fully loaded with a 4x4 bellows mattebox, mixer and shotgun mic.

You out-did yourself with this one.

PS: thank you for those nice pictures.

Tom E Young May 13th, 2004 09:37 PM

Thank you Bryan I hate using stupid dictonary.

Frank Granovski May 13th, 2004 10:47 PM

You can bet your boots Bryan's the man, especially when it comes to audio tips. He's got real world experience, you know, and lots of it. Yikes! What's happening? :-))
