Is there a NV-GS500k soon available for japanese market ?

Near one year after the NV-GS100k the feature of NV-GS400k are minimal, and it's overpriced.

I will wait for a test market like NV-GS100k was, i will wait for the same great deal. ;-)

I'll be please to hear some rumor about a new japanese market model.

Camcorders manufacturers aren't big on leaps and bounds every year. They tend to lean more towards baby steps.

Maybe Allan can comment on any other "possible" Japanese releases but I would think the GS400 is the replacement for the GS100. I also think its a worthy upgrade with its 200k pixel count increase for 16:9 but thats only because I'm a widescreen nut.

If I get solid information I'll post it here and on my website. It's just something which was mentioned to me by Panasonic Technical, last week. It's a new 3-chip model that may be announced within a few weeks or 6 months---that's all I know. Sorry.
