Progressive Photoshoot mode on PVGS120

Hi folks

I'm currently in the market to purchase a 3CCD camera as a backup and 3rd camera (I currently own the XL1 and am on the waiting list for the XL2). I notice that the PVGS120 supports this "Progressive Shooting" mode. Is this the same as the FRAME mode on the XL1 in that it captures video in full frame?

Any comments in general about the PVGS120?

Thanks

Norman, the progressive mode on the PV-GS120 is only referring to the still photo function that emulates a shutter effect.

If you want frame mode check out the DVC30 or GS400.

Norman:

I have the PV-GS70 (last years model) and love it.

This is a second camera for me as well (VX-2000).

The thing I keep telling people is plat to the strengths and avoid the weaknesses.

Yes, low light is an issues with this camera, so import some light.
If I shoot outdoors, I get some very impressive results.

For my $600, it was well worth it!

The GS70 is not in stock in most places due to it being discontinued but someone verified that
Costco.com
has them in stock for $479. Not too shabby.
