Turn off flash[GS400]

Hello everyone,

Is there any menu to turn off flash in GS400? It seems random that flash sometimes work, other time just keep silent.

TIA
Leigh

Leigh,
Inside the LCD well is the flash control button (second button down with a lightning bolt). It toggles through 3 modes, Auto (white lightning bolt with a subscript A), forced (white lightning bolt) and off (lighning bolt with a yellow circle-slash over it).

Hi Guy,

Thanks, I found the button.

Do you know how many times flash will work? 1000 times or more?

TIA
Leigh

Leigh, keep on taking pictures as your flash will probably outlast the rest of the camera as long as its not defective.

I agree with Tommy. It is likely to last forever. I have a photo flash unit for my Canon AE1 Program that I bought in 1982 and it is still going strong.
