GS400 battery power

I'm having trouble finding some specs. I'm in the process of purchasing a GS400, I guess this question could wait until I recieve it with a manual, however, I'm anxious to know the answer. I'm wondering what kind of power, i.e. how many watts, are needed to charge the battery sufficiently. I'm wondering if I could possibly charge the battery/run the camera from a portable solar cell (which unfortunatly are typically of low wattage). Any insight would be appreciated.

Hello Jono and welcome to DVInfo!

You can download the NTSC GS400 manual from the top post in this forum or right click and "save target as" from this link. Its in PDF format.

Let me know if you need a PAL GS400 manual.
