DVC200 scene settings

I recently purchased a DVC200. It's a fine camcorder but I would guess that the image could be further improved by tweaking the scene settings.

Would anyone be willing to share their settings that enhance the video?

Also, there's an empty wireless receiver holder on this camcorder. Panasonic calls is a compartment for a WX-RJ700 receiver but there's very little information on this wireless unit. Does anyone using this compartment?

Thanks.

Hello,

I have been using this camera for a year and a half.

I have the Canon 16x lens.

The camera produces a nice picture with some tweaks.

I think the camera is prone to the white lines around objects that contrast with a backround.

Some settings I have changed are:

Process menu -

Horizontal Detal Freq. - I raised this to 4mhz. This takes some detail away, but reduces the white glow around objects. You can compensate with more Horizontal Detail.

Vertical Detail - This really effects the white edges, so I have left this close to zero.

Chroma level - +1

Master Pedestal - +2 or -2 (whichever add more contrast) This adds more black to your blacks. Takes away a bit of the washed-out color look.

I also went into the matrix and adjusted the colors.

The camera has a bit of a greenish tint right out of the box.

Good luck!
