BTW Do any of u guys know how does the microphone on the underwater casing work? If you use it on land what happens? Does it sound almost the same as the built in mic?

The mic on the casing is a special underwater mic. It plugs into the MX300(0).

In the MX usergroups, it was reported that it sounds hollow in dry land, but great underwater. More details there, do a search.
