Poor goose, all cut up, while still alive!

Frank Granovski February 21st, 2003 02:47 AM

Yup. For goosie's sake, the shooter needs the version 1.5 (or version 1.6) firmware upgrade.

Don't you guys have pelicans in America! :-)

Yes, in Vancouver you can see them fishing. Also, when I lived back in Winnipeg, in Lake Winnipeg, just north of Winnipeg (35 miles), they are always there in the water---there's storks too, those birds that bring us our babies. Winnipeg and Manitoba are full of neat birds in the summer; in the winter, many fly south to visit Chris Hurd.

We have pelicans here in Galveston, Texas. We also have the birds that Frank mentioned that come here for the winter from up North. We also have many Canadians that come here for the winter but they are birds of a different feather (but we love them all the same).

BTW, this weekend kicks off Mardi Gras in Galveston. It is definitely "party time" here on the Gulf of Mexico. The parades are not as big as in New Orleans, but they are just as colorful, the bands just as loud, and the costumes just as.... interesting.

Let the good times roll, Nick
