Okay, anybody, help please

Alright. Got a MX 2500 and my multi pic menu on the main menu is in blue. My dad wants me to film his golf swing so he can look at it but I can't figure out why it won't let me access it. Have turned the Progressive off and the shutter effect on. Have it on tape. anybody know why?

I thought I could give you a quick answer to this but when I checked my MX300 it too had the 'multi-pictures' selection 'blued out' and not selectable.
After a 10 min exercise of finding the manual then finding out about multipictures the answer is that you first have to go to the 'digital effect' setting (item 3) and select 'multi' or 'P -in P' in that menu then you will find the 'multi-pictures' menu is available which allows you to select dofferent 'multi-picture' functions...

Crazy eh! This menu system is so complicated.....
