Teranex and the 100b

I have no experience with the DVX 100 or 24pa first hand but, I have a client wanting to up rez their film for upcoming film festivals. I'm almost certain their footage has been converted to 24p using Cinema Tools. This would mean that they have quicktimes with a 24p timebase correct? I would want to take all their media offline and batch it back in with a new 1080p24 sequence and re rendering. I would of course put the teranex in between the mini dv deck and the kona card. My main question is that if the footage was taken in using a pull down removal would I still be able to use the sequence's timecode to revert back correctly to the tapes for the online via the teranex?
