one tape won't playback at DVinfo.net

I have a tape I recorded a few minutes on. played back fine. Then I tried to record on the tape using the "record" in the vtr section (the gray + red buttons under the monitor screen)

now the tape won't play back (others will)

when I load the tape it flashes "0 minutes left" and the timecode shows TC*00:00:00 with the asterisk after TC -

update: solved!

I somehow fast forwarded the tape a few minutes where there was no recording, so it looked like it wasn't playing or rewinding or fastforwarding.
Gosh! Idiot!
