laptop as external monitor
Has anybody done this with a dvx100, and how I tried but no luck,
thanks a bunch N |
If you have Mac then this is a good solution http://www.bensoftware.com/btvpro.html

You have tried in what way? I know of a lot of people doing that
without any problems. I myself have done it lots of times with an XL1S. A lot of people seem really fond of a program called "DV Rack" that allows you to monitor and record the signal: http://www.seriousmagic.com/dvrack.cfm |
DV Rack is really slick. I think it's a great program for the price.
|
DV Rack is superb, especially with the $200 rebate being offered right now.
|
Thanks Fellas for the advice, I guess I need a good program, Do I need a special video card or anything?
|
If you're using DV Rack, you need nothing else other than a firewire port.
(make sure your laptop fits the minimum specifications of course). |
