An interesting tidbit I stumbled across

As all DVC-30 owners know, the Operations manual sometimes does not explain things clearly.

There is a section where it talks about a 7.5 % set-up (probably under the Menu Configuration section - Camera section - I don't have the manual handy with me now - I was just looking at the PAL manual on the internet)

I was confused too about this but I found this link on the DV.com web-site that explains this topic well.
