some pics on jpn site

check out these pics. I just found them on the cci dvc forum. I was looking and asking for a while for frame grabs with the DVC30 and am impressed with these grabs. its a comparison of the dvc30 and pdx10.

A few clips have a little magic bullet on them, but most of the surfing and skating is straight out of the camera. This is from the first weekend with it, still getting it wired, please excuse some of my exposures.

DVC30 movie-mode

here is a short clips of 4 shots, shot in movie mode (cine gamma) It is quicktime and has no audio. these are raw clips, not processed, but this is half-sized and compressed for the web. The colors are a bit brighter and more saturated in the uncompressed original.

It looks very good.

Do you remember the settings you shot with ? CineGamma ? It looks like 60 I, right ?

shot in manual mode - white balanced to a white card
shot with auto exposure on set to -2
