1st short film shot on DVX100b

Hi Everyone.

I just completed my 1st comedy short film shot entirely on the DVX100b. It's a 5-minute documentary called "Do-It-Yourself Embalming". It was written, shot, edited and scored in less than 24-hours.

Any feedback or comments you may have would be greatly appreciated. You can find the film at the following link:

Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Enjoy!

I gotta say, the acting in it was very good, and the writing was clever. You certainly captured the documentary feel. I really liked the removing the bodily fluids part, and also where she said to wash the dead body 'with love'. I think that maybe the part at the start where it is outside could have been colour-corrected better, but again, maybe it fits like that with the documentary feel. Good job!

Great film!

i know you probably hate criticism deep down like the rest of us...but i guess i'll offer mine anyway (just a little) - The only problem in my opinion was it was just a bit slow paced...could've stood some shorter cuts and quicker punch lines.....but like i said above, Great Film.

Looked real good too...100B always does the trick....

Congratulations on a great effort, Peter! I'd consider it excellent even without knowing how quickly you produced it, but to do that in 24 hours is way impressive. Do you know yet how you fared in the competition?
