still shots ?

Can the DVX100 take stills like the GL2 ? i just purchased the DVX100 and am waiting for the shippment someone told me it does not take still ! omg no way !

is there a way to take a clip from the video and use it as a still from the computer to past on a web page ?

Yes, taking out stills from the video is possible and can be done with most editing softwares. However the resolution will be limited to the video resolution (720x576 for PAL).
