CCD resolution explaination

Is there a site that is exactly like this one... http://dvinfo.net/canonxl2/articles/article06.php but only about the DVX-100?

If not I'm wondering if anyone can explain the camera to me the same way this site explains the XL2. The biggest thing I wanna know is what resolution the chips inside the camera have.

Thanx

The CCD block in the DVX100 series has 380,000 effective pixels per chip and uses horizontal Pixel Shift. But the real question is, now that you know what the resolution is, what can you do with that information -- what difference is it really going to make for you. But since you wanted to know, there it is. Hope this helps,
