Remote Pan Tilt Cradle VW-CTR1

As stated on page 252 of the Panasonic HC-VX870 user manual, the Remote Pan Tilt Cradle VW-CTR1 will turn off the optical image stabilizer ! Considering that the cradle is a consumer-grade gadget with weak damping of vibrations (externally induced or generated by the cradle movement itself), I am a DEEPLY FRUSTRATED because it was otherwise a perfect match for an unattended camera operation during show recordings: an operator can remotely operate both the camcorder and the cradle over Wi-Fi (and the Wi-Fi links works over a decent distance, unlike with Canon XA-20 camcorder series). And in such situations it is often difficult/impossible to guarantee vribration-free operation (e.g. camera+cradle mounted on a clamp, etc.)
I have yet to find another wirelessly operated pan/tilt cradle, at a price compatible with low-budget show recordings. Any ideas ??
