lens error message
 

Just trying out a FD lens adaptor and I keep getting the message
"please check that the lens is attached correctly"

if I press the front dial I can use the lens apature/focus but the message reappears when I press the shutter?

anyone using an adaptor? any problems?

The first thing to check: in the menu there is a Setting for "Shoot without Lens". This must be set to "ON", otherwise it will give you the error mesage you are getting. That should solve your problem. If you've already done this, maybe the adapter isn't set properly and needs to be twisted more to lock onto the GH1.
