lines and pixels flashing in GH1 footage

I just bought a used GH1 from B&H and I'm having an issue with the footage. I wondered if anyone can take a look and let me know if they think this might be a defective body or typical GH1 issues. I've read about muddiness, but this is different.

Both were shot with the camera set to 1280x720/60, f/4, 1/60th, 100iso.

FIRST, in the frame-grab here: http://www.poeticcinema.com/gh1_vertical_lines.jpg - you can see vertical lines in his right cheek, chin and neck. They are faint, but clearly there. I see them even more when filming a solid colored surface, like a wall in the background, and even more yet the higher the ISO is. This is at ISO 100 though.

SECOND, in this video clip: http://www.poeticcinema.com/gh1_flashing_carpet.mov (57mb) - if you look at the carpet left of center, just below the green dog-toy, you can see some flashing spots. They seem to be in a random position, but the same spots flash every 30 frames. I haven't read anything at all about this problem.

Is this a common thing with this GH1? Should I just return it and get a GH2?

hi, i am not pro at this things, just want to say, this is very stange, and i think this cant happen with any camera. That blinking spots looks terrible... Few years ago, i had some problem with white pixels, and as i know, that helped to solve this problem, was update firmare. Maybe u can try to "reinstall" firmare, maybe there was hacked firmare before and did something with camera. Probably the problem its not there, but u can try to do. Or to take atention to this. Good luck
p.s. i have some problem with my gh2, just have gotten new one, and there is some problems ;]
cheers
