Any sign of 25p on the GH2 or indeed a successor camera? Beyond me why there isn't either a PAL version or simply the availability in camera of 24p/25p.

I just drop the 24p clips onto a 25p timeline. It speeds it up by 4% but that is no big deal as that is exactly what happens when Hollywood movies get released on a PAL DVD.
