multicam GH2+5Dmk2 in PAL use both in 24P?

Hi,

I live in France and am doing a year-long documentary on the cultural and social aspects of my community.
Lots of run and gun. No interviews, lots of street, sports, nightlife and many music and dance events that would be nice to film with two cameras. Final presentation will be a large-screen projection of a 15-minute film at a big reception, and, of course, web and dvd.

I've been using my 5dmk2 with a wide array of lenses (I'm a longtime corporate advertising photographer who has occasionally done videos before). Recording sound with an H4N plus shotgun mc with a feed into the 5D in addition to the H4N.

Sooo, Last week I got a GH2 as a second camera knowing via Philip Bloom and people on this forum among others that it couldn't do 1080 25p. I really didn't want a Canon 60d or a second 5dmk2. I love the 5D for low-light people stuff but the minute one shoots any architectural subjects it's not up to snuff on account of the moiré and aliasing.

Enough said (I'm rather verbose), given that I'm doing multi-cam with separate sound, is it better to set the 5dmk2 in NTSC 24P mode along with the GH2 in 24P, edit them together with the sound and the conform them together with cine tools (I useFCP) to 25P to edit with other footage shot with the 5Dmk2 at 25P? Apparently, it's a nightmare to sync sound with multi-cam setups if they're not shot at the same frame rate.

Have scoured the web. Can't find a similar situation.

Thanks
