best shutter speed for video...
Hello,
I'm just getting my "feet wet" using DSLRs to shoot video. I'm curious as to what shutter speed most people are using for video. Do I need to stay at the 1/50-1/60 range to avoid any stobbing or stutter issues. Thanks in advance for your feedback. This forum is always a great resource. Jerry |

1/60 is a good SS to stick with. It's the slowest speed you can use with 60p (obviously), and has always looked good for me with 30p and 24p.

Double the frame rate. So if you are shooting 24fps, then use 50. If you are shooting 30 fps, use 60. You get the idea. You can play with it when necessary, but that is a good rule of thumb
