Duplicating Slides

Anyone have and experience duplicating 35mm slides with a GH2? Anyone set up a rig to do such a thing?

Re: Duplicating Slides

You are probably better off finding a slide scanner or a regular scanner that has a slide attachment.

Yeah, that's another option. I have a scanner that is going bad. I've sent some slides out to be digitized but I still want to be able to do some myself. Anyone have a recommendation for a good scanner that won't break the bank?

Re: Duplicating Slides

I did a few negative scans by placing them on a very low-intensity light table I've had for years and shooting them with a perfectly stabilized macro lens, then inverting in PS... slides wouldn't be that far off. Takes a fair amount of fiddling, and may or may not be more trouble than it's worth depending upon how many slides you have to deal with.
