Without my Intervention: Can the GH3 re-record automatically without button press?
 

Hi All,

I'm unfortunately in the UK and own a GH3 (and soon to have a GH4 once it arrives). I want to use them for wedding ceremonies... but I'm a solo shooter and sometimes, I won't be able to make my way around to pressing the record button once it reaches 29mins and 59secs.

Does anyone know if there's a way to get it to just continue recording with the clip ending and then record starting again???

Seems like an obvious workaround... I hope it's available!

Below another thread with the same discussion, there is something interesting said at the end, it appears if you record in MOV you can shoot longer?? Never tried it so you might test that?
